Principal Software Engineer at Iconic Air (Asuene USA) and Chief Tech Advisor at Plugin Promotions. I design and ship production systems end to end: offline-first field platforms for energy operators, a custom operating system for venue hardware, and consumer apps installed millions of times.

Experience

  1. Principal Software Engineer, Iconic Air (Asuene USA)

    Oct 2025 – Present

    • Own the architecture of the North American mobile platform after Asuene USA acquired Iconic Air.
    • Sole architect and developer of the Iconic Air LDAR app for iOS and Android, used in the field by 14 energy operators across about 22 states.
    • Primary technical contact for several enterprise accounts.

  2. Lead Mobile Engineer III, Iconic Air

    Jun 2025 – Oct 2025

    • Replaced the existing mobile app with a new offline-first platform, delivered to customer field teams in four and a half months.
    • Cut crash rates by 35% and made synchronization 15× faster.
    • Shipped about 40 beta builds, roughly one a week, through to public release.

  3. Chief Tech Advisor, Plugin Promotions

    2025 – Present

    • Designed and built PluginOS, an Android-based operating system for tabletop kiosks and Plugin TV sticks, now running across about 250 locations.
    • Guide the architecture of the multi-tenant platform behind it: payments, analytics pipelines and real-time dashboards.
    • PluginOS is also the customer-facing app on the App Store and Google Play, where venues pair, schedule and monitor their displays.

  4. Research Engineer, Brain, Behavior and Addiction Lab, WVU

    2024 – 2025

    • Sole software engineer on a psychology research team; built the Unity slot-machine simulation used in a funded study of gambling immersion (n=233).
    • Turned clinical study designs into experiment logic, data collection and statistical exports.

  5. Software Engineer, Oracle

    2021 – 2023

    • Built a customized core-banking deployment for a pan-African banking group handling high transaction volume across many countries.
    • Led developers through feature builds and releases; automated patch consolidation and test tooling.

  6. Student Ambassador, Microsoft

    2018 – 2025

    • Delivered 50+ workshops on AI, cloud and developer tools to more than 2,000 students.

Projects

  • pr-triage-agent (MIT licensed). Command-line tool that triages a GitHub pull request with four AI agents: security, performance and style specialists run in parallel, and a fourth merges their findings into one report.
  • Microsoft Agent Framework (PR #6924 merged). Documentation fix merged into Microsoft's agent framework, correcting references to a removed API in the Python client docstrings.
  • For Tesla (50K+ downloads). Android app that recreates a Tesla-style touchscreen dashboard on a phone, with maps, climate, music and driving views. Built for fans.
